John Godina Founded the World Athletics Center in 2005 to address the void in elite running and track and field performance training. The central mission of the WAC was to create the first-ever elite athlete development company with fully-comprehensive science and services, top-level coaches’ education and, until-now-elusive, long-term stability needed for world class athletes to flourish. The WAC successfully developed a strategic business plan with our elite athlete division as the central spire. Surrounding the elite athlete central spire, the WAC constructed business verticals and partnerships to buffer and buttress the elite athlete training environment we committed to build and protect. Today the WAC has expanded to include a gamut of sub-brands and services possible only through years of trial and error, diligent attention to detail, relationship building and solid business practices. As the company devises and cultivates new markets, the core principles of growth are applied to each new WAC venture and partnership to maximize the chance of success.
